Bruce Smathers

Bruce Armistead Smathers (born 1943 in Miami, Florida, United States) was elected to and served as Florida Secretary of State from 1975 - 1978. He is the son of George Smathers, former U.S. Senator for Florida. Smathers was the youngest member ever of the Florida Cabinet at his time of entry.
