"possibly the best amongst non-private schools in Edinburgh"

This implies that private schools are somehow superior to state schools. The use of the word "possibly" is odd given that Broughton houses the City of Edinburgh Music School. I am going to delete the line due to the private school bias and the fact that it adds little. I will add the word excellent though. Perhaps the award-winning jazz band or some musicians who attended Broughton should be mentioned. I will leave that to someone with more knowledge on the subject.

Is this “friction” between Fettes and Broughton pupils, if it actually exists, really worth a mention? I doubt it and I am going to delete it. To be honest I fail to see why Fettes College is mentioned at all in an article about Broughton High School. I have checked and Broughton is not mentioned in the far longer article on Fettes.
