I believe Miss Kingsbury would say that an apostrophe forms the posessive, not the plural of a word.Dhodges 05:45, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] composite

What does the word "composite" mean in this sense (bottom of the lead)? It's linking to a website that seems to have absolutely nothing to do with this subject. Spangineer 20:25, Apr 19, 2005 (UTC)

1. comprehensive school, composite school -- (a large British or Canadian secondary school for children of all abilities)[1]. Incidentally, thanks for pointing this out. I’ll have to check the other Ottawa schools to see if they point to the same link. --Dhodges 23:37, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
