"and is Tasmania's busiest and shortest highway." - can it indeed be considered a highway, seeing it's essentialy part of the midlands highway, which would make both the Arthur and Esk highways the shortest (~90km each)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.168.112.116 (talk • contribs) 03:12, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

It uses the "1" designation, but that doesn't make it part of the Midlands highway - the Bass Highway also uses the "1" symbol. -- Chuq 03:48, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
  • If you read the Federal Goverment's National Highway Funding websites, you would see that the brooker highway is a Highway in its own right. Wiki ian 02:55, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
