[edit] Design
The Browning BDM was developed in 1991 by the Browning Arms Company. The gun was designed with a trigger switch, toggling between Double Action, or pistol mode and Double Action Only, or revolver mode. This switch is what gives the gun it's name, with BDM standing for Browning Dual Mode.
