Broscăuţi is a commune in Botoşani County, Romania.
The village has 3,000 people. The main occupation of its habitants is agriculture—growing plants like corn and potatoes, raising animals (cows, sheep, rabbits) and birds (ducks, chicken). Some of the people of Broscăuţi work in the factories in nearby Dorohoi, which provides them with some extra money as they are real poor. A big part of the village's youth is gone abroad in countries like Italy and Spain, where they hope to have a better life. The village has five "neighborhoods": "Deal Coşeri", "Deal Pricopeni", "Vale", "Pe şes", "Din sus".
