Brookwood School

Brookwood School is a school in Manchester, Massachusetts. Its mascot is a heron. Brookwood has students from pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade.

Brookwood has many options for sports, including, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and basketball. Brookwood also holds many fun, educational activities in, or around their pond, i.e. a replay of the Titanic in which students slowly sink, wooden sailboat races, and science-related studies about the plants that surround the pond. Other activities that do not include the pond are basketball shoot outs, woodworking, and steel drum lessons.

Brookwood's math curriculum ranges from learning basic addition and subtraction in kindergarten through second grade, to multiplication and long division in fourth grade through sixth grade. The students learn ways to make multiplication and division easier.

Brookwood also does many fun art activities from many varieties of culture. From Mexican yarn paintings, to African masks, the students learn different techniques for producing many kinds of art.
