Brookvale, New South Wales

Brookvale is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located in the Northern Beaches area of the city. It is part of Warringah Council and its postcode is 2100.
Brookvale is within the Warringah local government area, however in recent years there have been calls for the neighbouring councils Manly and Pittwater to merge with Warringah council in order to form one single government council for the Northern Beaches area.
The large Warringah Mall shopping centre is located at Brookvale. It features a huge David Jones, Myer, Coles, Woolworths, Big W, Target, JB Hi-Fi, Hoyts, numerous mini retailers and about 300 stores. It is mostly outdoors.
Brookvale is home to Brookvale Oval, the home ground to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles of the National Rugby League.
