Bronx Community Board 11

Bronx Community Board 11 is a local government unit of the city of New York, encompassing the neighborhoods of Bronxdale, Laconia, Morris Park, Pelham Parkway, and Van Nest in the borough of the Bronx.
It is delimited by the Bronx River Parkway and Bronx Park East to the west, East Tremont Avenue to the south, the Hutchinson River Parkway to the east and Adoe Avenue, Boston Road, and East Gun Hill Road to the north.
Its current chairperson is Dom Castore. John A. Fratta is the District Manager.

As of the United States 2000 Census, the Community Board has a population of 110,706, up from 97,842 in 1990 and 99,079 in 1980. Of them, 37,919 (34.63%) are of Hispanic origin, 20,057 (18.1%) are Black, non-Hispanic, 41,839 (37.8%) are White, non-Hispanic, 6,728 (6.1%) are Asian or Pacific Islander, 241 (0.2%) American Indian or Alaska Native, 709 (0.6%) are some other race (non-Hispanic), and 3,213 (2.9%) of two or more races (non-Hispanic).
