Broken is a song by post grunge band Seether with Shaun Morgan's then girlfriend Amy Lee from Evanescence. It is the twelfth track on their album Disclaimer. It was re-released in the album Disclaimer II. Although the song was recorded with Amy Lee the song had been written long before Shaun Morgan and Amy Lee were going out together. The music video has Shaun Morgan sitting in a car playing an acoustic guitar and Amy Lee wandering around a ruined landscape. Shortly after the song was recorded the two split up.
The song gained notable popularity in 2004 when it appeared on the soundtrack to Marvel Comics' The Punisher. Its inclusion in the film's trailers, not to mention heavy airplay at the time of its release, made it one of the most popular songs Seether has ever done.
