Broadmeadows is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Broadmeadows, on the Broadmeadows railway line. It is in Metcard Zone 2. It is the terminus for the Broadmeadows line.

Broadmeadows is classed as a Premium Station.

The station is located between Pascoe Vale Road and Railway Cresent. The Melbourne - Sydney SG line is adjacent to the station.

[edit] Facilities

The station consists of two side platforms. Platform 1 contains a small shelter and a small waiting room building while platform 2 contains a large bluestone building with an enclosed waiting room and ticket office inside, and an office tower built on top. A large Metcard machine is located inside the waiting room, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. No Metcard machines are located on platform 1. A subway is located underneath the station, whilst stabling facilities are located at the DOWN end of the station.

Both platforms can be accessed via Pascoe Vale Road and Railway Cresent.

Broadmeadows station originally opened on Saturday, 1st February 1873.

As of 2006, the station is undergoing renovation due to the electrification of the line between this station and Craigieburn.
