Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) is a state funded organisation which regulates and to a degree, censors programmes that appear on television and radio.
In the past, this commission was very strict about broadcasting regaulations but since 1994, it has been more liberal in the programmes it approves to be aired on TV and radio.
