Hello there, welcome to my user page; feel free to leave me a message. I'm a European citizen who lives currently in Edinburgh having recently moved here from Aberdeen where I attended University of Aberdeen and worked as a teacher for 10 years. I have spent most of my life living in Scotland but have also lived in Madrid and in Melbourne

My main interests in Wikipedia are related to education, the European Union and gay and lesbian issues. I have a personal Wikigoal of trying to keep all articles I encounter balanced and free from Americentric terminology and points of view.

My user name is Brideshead as the novel Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh is my favourite work of literature. it is the only novel I have ever read which made me jealous. I wish I had written it. Brideshead 18:38, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
