[edit] Focus of this article

The purpose of having an article separate from the Southern Rhodesia, Rhodesia and Zimbabwe articles is not obvious, as well as the lack of linking there seems to be considerable overlap and duplication. The focus of this article should perhaps be refined if there is a need for it to be separate. At one point it appears there were numbered inline references but these no longer link up.
