Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

[edit] New Mayor

Paul Hurley didn't ask the council to re-ppoint him, so former mayor and councilman Douglas Weberling has been selected. Hurley will likely be appointed Vice Mayor.

Bristol, Virginia was incorporated 1891 as the city of Goodson.

[edit] Tri Cities

Are both Bristols part of the Tri Cities? Why isn't it the Quad Cities? --Gbleem 04:14, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

They kind of "count" it is One city, for some odd reason...

I brought that up to the mayor once, and he said he had never thought of it.

[edit] "Bristol, Virginia ranks near the bottom of Virginia localities in education, healthcare, and income."

I hate removed this sentence from the article:

"Bristol, Virginia ranks near the bottom of Virginia localities in education, healthcare, and income."

It would be nice if this assertion could be backed up with a citation or two. --Takeel 02:41, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
