  • Powerstock Station near Eggardon Hill and nearer Nettlecombe than Powerstock.
  • Occasional use of Land Rover for first train in final years when unit could not get path from Westbury (apocryphal(?).

  • Gravity working of platform at Maiden Newton (at least one model exists).
  • Slip coach from Westbury (or Castle Cary?).
  • Last steam train stalled on Powerstock Bank (Verify?).
  • Powerstock (and other stations?) lit by hurricane lamps even up to closure.
  • Bridport Railway Action Group with suggestions (stations at Loders and Bradpole and Sunday Hiker trains).
