Britwell Salome is a village in south Oxfordshire, England.

"Salome" is a corruption of the family name Sulham. There is a village called Sulham in Berkshire, near Reading, and another village called Berrick Salome in south Oxfordshire.

Saint Nicholas is the parish church, dating from the 13th century. The local pub is called The Goose. Also located here are Britwell Salome House with extensive grounds to the south-west and Britwell Priory to the north-east of the village.

Nearby are the villages of Brightwell Baldwin and Upperton to the north-west. The local town is Watlington about 2 km away to the north-east along the B4009 road. Benson is to the west along the same road in the opposite direction.

To the south-east is Britwell Hill. The Ridgeway, an ancient track, runs past the hill. There is an excellent view of rural Oxfordshire looking down from the very staighth road leading from the hill to the village.
