Brittany Wells (born c. 1986 England) is an American country music artist.
Born in England as Brittany Wellsfry to Andrea and Captain John Wellsfry, a U.S. Air Force Fighter pilot, Brittany was named in honor of her place of birth, Great Britain. Her family lived in England until she was two years old when her family returned to their roots in Wichita Falls, Texas where Brittany grew up. Encouraged by family and friends, Brittany started studying the piano and singing and imitating songs on the radio. At elementary school she learned to play tennis, eventually playing at competition level, obtaining a national USTA (United States Tennis Association) ranking until the age of fourteen. She won the title of Miss Teen Nacogdoches in 2001, and, in 2002, won the title of Miss Teen Texas, spending a year making personal appearances and fulfilling speaking and singing engagements.
After going to Nashville she was eventually introduced to Nashville producer and songwriter, Wyatt Easterling which resulted in a debut single and video, From Harm’s Way, and a fourteen song album titled, Loving Every Minute of It on Nashville based Spindletop Records which received critical acclaim from the country music press:
From Music Row magazine, ˜Sung with sass and personality. And she certainly knows a great song when she hears it. The punchy, rocking, catchy production is just perfect. I'd put this up against any major-label single out there."
From Times Record News, "All 14 numbers here are amazing. But Wells' refreshing misty-voiced tone and eager delivery style make He's Hers, That's What I Said Somebody's Somebody, Say Anything and her current patriotic single, From Harm's Way, one of the strongest debut albums by a promising young country singer to cross my desk in a long time."
From Country Music Writer, "If Loving Every Minute of It is any indication, Brittany Wells is ready to take her place among the greats. (NEXT rating: B)"
Brittany took part in The Music City Jam, held on September 28, 2005 at the Expo Center in Nashville which raised nearly $5000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. She also recently appeared at the 5th annual Nashville Nights fundraiser in Solvang, California at the Solvang Theatrefest.
