Britt William Reames (born August 19, 1973 in Seneca, South Carolina) is a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He made his career debut in the major leagues for the St.Louis Cardinals in 2000. Since then he has been on the Oakland Athletics, the Montreal Expos, and the Pittsburgh Pirates, always switching between the majors and the minors. On August 11, 2006 he was called up by the pirates when Josh Sharpless went on the disabled list. On August 28, 2006, he was designated for assignment.

Although Reames has been lauded for his gutty demeanor on the mound and his reputation as pitcher who could eat innings early in his career, it did not translate into success for him in the Major Leagues and he has yet to stick with a team for a long amount of time.
