Britt's Department Store is a former American department store chain that existed at least into the 1970s. It was an upscale version and division of JJ Newberry's in the late 1960s. There was one that was located in St. Lawrence County, New York, 1971, and another was located in Fort Lauderdale, as an anchor store in the Coral Ridge Mall. Another one was located in Los Angeles, California across from what is now (2007) a popular outdoor shopping mall known as The Grove. Many Britt's stores were later converted to Newberry's.
