Britney Milazzo

Britney Milazzo (Born December 9, 1986; born and raised in Rochester, NY) an American Soccer player for Arizona State University and was named on the the USAWNT player pool. Plays defense. Was part of the U-20 World Championship team in August of 2006, but did not see significant playing time due to a right knee injury. Captained 3-years of her State Finalist Greece Athena High School soccer team and National Finalist club team the Greece Eclipse in Rochester. Also, played with the Greece Cobras Premiere team in 2001-2002. Was named McDonalds All-American soccer player going into college and top 25 national recruits, according to SoccerBuzz.Com. Britney is still recovering from a major right knee injury during a tragic car accident in early 2004. This is preventing her from preforming to her full potential. Few know that in 2002 and 2003, she was named Miss Teen New York state, but declined the honour both times. Other honours include PAC-10 Conference Student Athlete of the Week (Oct. 14, 2005), ASU Sparky Award (April, 2006). Britney is a journalism major in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications within Arizona State. She works for ESPN in Phoenix, Arizona and maintains remaining on the Dean's List.
