British Catholic Stage Guild

The British Catholic Stage Guild is the main organisation for Roman Catholics in British entertainment. Its details are as follows:

Now-deceased members include the past Chair, actress Patricia Hayes (whose son, actor Richard O'Callaghan, né Richard Rooke, is the current Chair), Michael Williams, husband of Judi Dench and a former chairperson of the Guild, actress Margaretta Scott, David Healy, Irish-born Eamonn Andrews, and Sir Alec Guinness, one of the highest ranking and prestigious British actors to become a Catholic convert.

The Guild is not directly associated with ACTS (Association of Catholics in Theatre and on Screen), co-founded by actor Martin O'Brien circa 2005.
