The Transit Centre can be entered via ground level, or by a pedestrian overpass across Roma Street (which is accessed by a stairway and an escalator.

Brisbane Transit Centre, on Roma Street, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, is adjacent to the Roma Street Parkland and the Brisbane Magistrates Court, and opposite to the Roma Street Magistrates Court.

The Brisbane Transit Centre complex includes a number of shops, cafes and restaurants, and also a Holiday Inn hotel. Brisbane Transit Centre acts as the hub for long-distance public transport in Brisbane.

Roma Street Railway Station is accessed from the ground floor level of the Brisbane Transit Centre. Trains travel inter-state, as well as long-distance travel within Queensland. Roma Street Railway Station is also part of the CityTrain suburban rail network.

The Coach (or Bus) Line terminal is located on the top floor of the Brisbane Transit Centre. Coach (bus line) services travel inter-state, as well as long-distance travel within Queensland.
