This is the tenth season of the Brisbane Broncos. This season was unique in that they participated in the only Super League competition held in Australia. They also won the premiership.

1997 was the only year that there was a Super League competition in Australia. There were 10 teams in the Super League competition and 18 regular rounds. The Broncos won their 3rd premiership.
