The longest standing team in the competition is the Inner City Cricket Club, or ICCC Goats. This team have taken on the mantle of running the competition, although this mainly consists of creating the draw at the beginning of the season, collating the results after each match weekend and maintaining a table.

The matches are held fortnightly from March through to September depending on the number of teams competing.
At times in its 14 year history the competition has included members of several bands that have gone on to varying degrees of national and international fame such as Powderfinger and Regurgitator.
The competition was featured on ABC Radio National's The Sport Factor in 2001.
