"Brink of Disaster" is the 22nd episode of the first series of the Supermarionation television series Thunderbirds. It was the 11th episode to be produced. Its original air date on ATV Midlands in the United Kingdom was 24 February 1966. It was written by Alan Fennell and directed by David Lane.

[edit] Synopsis
A con invites Jeff, Brains and Tin-tin to test his Monorail and then a storm occurs, lightning hits a Helijet. The Helijet then crashes into a bridges support, which then becomes unstable. the sutomatic braking system of the monerail is damaged and which means that the monorail cannot stop, can Brains and Tin-tin stop the train in time? Meanwhile the con's associates brake into Lady Penelope's house and try to crack her safe. Will Lady Penelope and Parker wake up in time?
