Brighton Secondary School in Brighton, a beach side suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, offers general secondary education with elite programs in music and volleyball. Entry to these is highly competitive and by audition or try out.
It is one of four Special Interest Music Centres, with those at Brighton and Marryatville High Schools set up 1976, Woodville High School in 1977 and Fremont-Elizabeth City High School (then "Fremont High School") in 1978 covering four distinct geographical areas of Adelaide.
They were the champions in the Adelaide Rock Eisteddfod Challenge in 2003, 2004, and 2006.
