Bridges Hall, is a large hall of residence for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Reading, situated at the north-east corner of the main Whiteknights Campus.

Positioned in a leafy, grassy setting, the hall is said to be on the rise, ascending from Whiteknights Lake towards the Earley Gate, and is a few minutes walk from the main academic area. Utilitarian at heart, it has a friendly, totally relaxed atmosphere, not to mention rivalry with most of the other halls (Wessex, the neighbouring hall, is the obvious and most immediate recipient of this friendly assault). It has a significant proportion of overseas students, often on intensive one-year Masters courses, which adds to its cosmopolitan atmosphere and reputation.

The hall has its own bar (known as 'The Swan'), and benefits from an array of useful facilities, including TV lounge, piano, snooker room, table tennis, squash court and laundry. There is also a recently refitted library with a number of PCs and areas for quiet study and newspaper-reading. The Junior Common Room (JCR) committee organise social events every term, including balls (or 'formals') in the dining room, as well as inter-hall sports fixtures.
