Bridge of Hope Inc

In 1989 Bridge of Hope, a faith based nonprofit organization, began serving homeless single mothers and their children in Lancaster and Chester Counties, Pennsylvania. By combining the efforts of volunteer church mentoring groups with additional services provided by staff. According to Bridge of Hope, church mentoring groups provide a “ministry of friendship” for homeless mothers and their children in the local community.

Bridge of Hope reorganized and began accepting affiliates in 2002 to help grassroots groups in various states start this program in their location. Bridge of Hope now has seven affiliates in two states.
