Brian Hawkins

Brian Hawkins studied the viola at the Royal College of Music with Cecil Aronowitz.
He won a number of prizes for viola and chamber music and the Silver Medal of the Most Worshipful Company of Musicians. Membership of chamber ensembles includes the Edinburgh String Quartet, Martin String Quartet, Tunnell Piano Quartet and String Trio, Vesuvius Ensemble, London Oboe Quartet, Park Lane Group, Nash Ensemble, London Virtuosi and Gagliano String Trio.
He is member of the Council of the European String Teachers Association (British Branch).
