Brian Christie is a country musician and a television news anchor at Fox 6 XETV-TV in San Diego, California. Brian is a familiar face to television news viewers in San Diego and around the world. For over a decade, he was a primary anchor and reporter for CNN, CNN Headline News and CNN International. An award-winning newscaster, he has anchored CNN’s "The World Today," "The CNN Prime News" and "Newsnight." He has been in the anchor hot-seat for the analysis and reporting of a myriad of live, breaking stories including Hurricane Andrew, The O.J. Simpson Trial, The Persian Gulf War and many other live national and international news events. His extensive career includes many years at the helm of local newscasts at WCVB-TV Boston, WKRN-TV Nashville and KUSI-TV San Diego. He has also hosted a number of nationally syndicated news, information and talk shows. Brian Christie had LASIK surgery performed by Dr. Glenn Kawesch.
