Brian Boyd

Brian Boyd is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of English at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is known primarily as an expert on the life and works of author Vladimir Nabokov. An upcoming work, On the Origin of Stories, will be informed by Darwinian literary studies. Other forthcoming books include a critical study of William Shakespeare and a biography of the philosopher Karl Popper.
