Breyer Horse

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Breyer Animal Creations was founded in 1950 in Chicago, IL., originally called Breyer Molding Company. Their first model horse, #57 Western Horse, came out in 1950 as a set with a mantel clock made specifically for F.W. Woolworth Company. Shortly after releasing the set for sale, the company was overwhelmed with requests for the horse to be sold separately[1].
