BreyerFest is an annual event, taking place every year during the last weekend of July. Ever since it started, it has been held at the Kentucky Horse Park, in Lexington, Kentucky, and growing every year. Beginning in 1990, the event is the biggest gathering of model horse enthusiasts in the world, with last year's event attracting over 6,000 people. Each year, there is a basic theme, with 3 or 4 guest horses to fit the theme. A 'Celebration Horse', the 'star' of the event, is always a model, available only to 3-day-ticket holders (a bit of fun trivia; the Celebration model was originally called the Dinner Model).
