Brett Matthews is an American writer of comics and TV shows. He gained fame through scripting episodes of Angel, and Firefly, both created by Joss Whedon. Matthews co-wrote a Serenity and an Angel mini-series with Joss Whedon.

Graduated from Wesleyan University in 1999.
