Brent Eleigh is a small town and civil parish in the English county of Suffolk.According to Eilert Ekwall the possible meaning of the village name is Ilega's meadow which was burnt pre 1254 .The Domesday Book records the population of Brent Eleigh including Monks Eleigh in 1086 to be 61.
