Brendan Ryan is the Labour Party candidate in the forthcoming General Election for Dublin North and is the younger brother of outgoing TD, Deputy Seán Ryan.

An active member of the Labour Party since 1978, Brendan sought the party nomination to take a more pro-active approach in solving the problems facing his community.

Educated at DIT, UCD and DCU, Brendan graduated with a degree in chemistry as well as being conferred with masters’ degrees in food science and business administration. He currently works as an operations manager.

Originally from the Donabate/Portrane area, Brendan is raising his young family in Skerries where he has lived since he was married in the late-1970s.
