Brenda Venus

Brenda Venus (b. 10 November 1947, Biloxi, Mississippi) is an American actress, author, ballet dancer, director, and producer.

As a very young woman, Brenda Venus met the famed Henry Miller. She became his muse, his inspiration and he her mentor.

In 1997, she published Dear, Dear Brenda: The Love Letters of Henry Miller to Brenda Venus (ISBN 0-688-02816-0).

During the spring of 1997, she posed for a celebrity nude pictorial in Playboy magazine, and also posed as a celebrity centerfold for Muscle & Fitness magazine. Later, Celebrity Sleuth did two pictorials on Venus voting her one of the 25 most beautiful women of 2000, and number 10 most beautiful breasts in the world.

She created, and for over five years, wrote the Centerfolds On Sex column for Playboy. Every week, a different Playmate would come to her penthouse in Beverly Hills, and discuss men and sex for hours.

She hosted her own radio show on K-rock in Salt Lake City, Utah, talking with listeners about sex, relationships, romance, and love.

In Moscow, Russia a play called Venus starring Olympic gold-medal-winner Svetlana Khorkina as Brenda Venus was performed. The play was about Venus' experience with Henry Miller. Venus was invited as the guest of President Vladimir Putin.
