Breim

Breim is a former municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway.

It was created when the municipality Gloppen was split in two on January 1, 1886, at which point Breim had a population of 1,823.

On January 1, 1964 the district of Førde with 38 inhabitants was moved to Jølster municipality while the majority of Breim, with 1,731 inhabitants, was reincorporated into Gloppen. Breim now constitutes the eastern part of Gloppen.
