Breeze-Courier
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Breeze-Courier is a newspaper serving Taylorville, Illinois, United States and all of Christian County. It is a daily newspaper (afternoons from Monday through Friday with a Sunday morning newspaper) but isn't published on Saturdays.
The Breeze-Courier has been in business for over 100 years. Its current owner and publisher, Marylee Lasswell, is the daughter of former owner, James Cooper.
The newspaper went color a few years ago and provides continuous coverage of all local news. Much to the ire of many readers, the police beat section lists all traffic tickets and other minor offenses.
The paper leans conservative in a very liberal town.
