[edit] Background
Breanna Conrad first appeared on MTV's Laguna Beach in an episode on season one during a family dinner.[5] Following the show's success in the first two seasons, MTV renewed the franchise for season three, with an all new core cast, including Conrad.[6]
[edit] Season Three
The third season of Laguna Beach premiered on August 16 2006.[7] Breanna Conrad was among the cast members shown in the opening credits for season three.[8]
One of the plot-lines on season three of Laguna Beach followed the relationship between Conrad and her childhood best friend Raquel Donatelli.[6] Conrad and Donatelli had a falling-out sometime prior to the start of season three.[8] For the better part of the filming, Donatelli was close friends with Tessa Keller, season three's main character and narrator.[8] Conrad and Keller did not get along with one another, in part because they are attracted to the same guys.[6] Conrad was usually shown with other friends, including Lexie Contursi.[8] In episode four Conrad and Donatelli went to lunch and talked[9], but they did not make up and resume their friendship until the final episode of the season.[8] As of December 2006, Conrad and Donatelli continue to be good friends.[3]
[edit] Season Four
MTV has renewed the Laguna Beach franchise for a fourth season.[10] Conrad and the other high school juniors in the cast of season three will return for their senior year.[10] In January of 2007, the season four cast gathered at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California to celebrate the fourth season of Laguna Beach, which was then filming.[11]
