Breakcore Gives Me Wood is a Belgian breakcore partycrew, operating from Ghent, Belgium. Since 2002 they have thrown over 20 parties in Belgium, often in squats or abandoned buildings. They try to let touring international breakcore artist play in Belgium for an entrance fee no bigger than 5 or 6 Euro, without making a loss.

Have played at Wood parties: Bong-Ra, FFF, Toecutter, Shitmat, Venetian Snares, DJ 100.000.000, Society Suckers, Baseck, Fanny, Eiterherd, Xanopticon, Ambassador 21, Maladroit, Drop The Lime, End, Ablecain, Rotator, Electric Kettle, Christoph de babalon, Aphasic, Thee Vaporizer, Hecate, Christoph Fringeli, Duran Duran Duran, Dev/Nul, I:gor, Doormouse, Aaron Spectre, Jason Forrest and many more.

Wood have released one compilation CD in 2004 under the name Wood Records, a sublabel of Widerstand Records. A 7" by Droon has been in the pipeline since 2004 and was finally released in 2006. A 12" split by Fanny and Not Half and a second Wood compilation have been ready for a couple of years and should be released in 2006.

The first Wood party in 2002, post-humously entitled Wood 0, was a preparty for the Smart Art Festival. Original members were Sickboy, Droon, Terror, Blunted Beats and later Val (of The Gigglin Dildas), they got together via widerstand.org. Smart Art Movement supported and helped organise Wood parties until the Wood crew had enough experience to do it by themselves.

As of 2005 the Wood residents are Sickboy, Droon, The Gigglin Dildas, Xanopticon, (Tim) Terror and (Rick) Mayhem. The first four are live acts, the final two DJ's. Flyers and posters for the Wood parties and all other artwork are designed by Droon.
