Thanks for uploading Image:Bios-jamesK.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

Hi Brastite, El Greco paintings from 16th century are not copyrighted so the tag "copyrightedfreeuse" doesn't make sense. I have relabelled these PD-old: Image:The Assumption of the Virgin 1577.jpg - Image:The Burial of the Count of Orgaz Upper half.jpg - Image:The Dormition of the Virgin 1567 – El Greco.jpg - Image:The Spoliation - el greco.jpg. Probably you were not aware of this at the time you uploaded them.
Also, Image:Alexander Papagos - Αλέξανδρος Παπάγος.JPG, Image:Oil painting of the Greek Parliament, at the end of the 19th century, by N. Orlof.jpg and Image:Laskarina Bouboulina.JPG have no info on the source. I have labelled them "no source". If you do not actually know who owns the copyright, I suggest you say so and we'll have the images deleted. If you don't say anything at all, they will be deleted in time but it would be simpler to go through your uploads and see what can be kept if you help. Lots of users have uploaded images with questionable copyright status before they understood how it works, you are not the only one! // Habj 13:30, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Some of your great images are labelled "copyrightedfreeuse" but has no info on the source. A couple of them have info on where the statue is to be found, but the photographer of a statue holds copyright of a photo "This ruling only applies to two-dimension works. For pictures of statues (which is, effectively, a translation of a three dimensional work into a two-dimensional copy) the picture taker has creative input into which angle to take the photographs from. Therefore, a new copyright is created when the picture is taken. Therefore, pictures of public domain 3D works are not necessarily in the public domain." Wikipedia:Copyright FAQ#Derivative works.

Have you taken this photos yourself, in Rome in Italy, and Nafplion, Korfu and Spetses in Greece? If so, please mark them accordingly.
Image:EVZONES MARCHING.JPG - Image:GREEK EVZONES.JPG - Image:EVZONES GROUP.JPG - Image:EVZONES STANDING GAURD.JPG - Image:EVZONES STANDING.JPG - Image:GREEK GAIDA - Bagpipe.JPG - Image:Agrafa District Chaliki Aspropotamos.jpg and Image:Kastro larissa Nauplio fortress.jpg aren't sculptures, but ordinary photos. Who are the photographers? Unless that is stated, the pics can't be labelled as copyrightedfreeuse.
Finally, I wonder what year you were born. Image:NIKOLAOS PLASTIRAS.JPG is a nice pic but since the general died in 1953, I doubt that you is the photographer. Who holds the copyright of this image? Even more so, Image:Venizelos, Eleutherios (1864-1936).JPG and Image:Eleftherios Venizelos.jpg are labelled "GFDL-self". Eleutherios Venizelos died in 1936, which is 70 years ago. Unless you are 90 years old, or close to that, I doubt that you took these photographs yourself. To user: Habj, firstly the aggressive and sarcastic tone you Converse with is completely unnecessary, the date of my birth is irellivant to the pictures and obviously none of your business, weather you doubt that Im the photographer or not is your POV. FYI I am a recreational photographer and have traveled extensively, on my travels I have seem many historical regions and have added numerous quality pictures to certain wikipedia articles. Although I am now fully aware of the copyright tags that accompany images some of the earlier pictures I have added were copyright-tagged incorrectly as I was unaware of the copyrights at the time they were uploaded to Wikipedia. I am quite aware of this at present and I will go back as soon as I have spare time and add the correct copyright tags the next chance I get.Brastite 12:44, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

It appears that you have just started to claim authorship to avoid your images being deleted as unsourced. Looking at your record, I do not believe that you created both Image:Aetolia map.jpg and Image:Magna Graecia01.jpg (or either, for that matter). Please don't do that.
