I also have no idea what you're talking about. Unless you are IP 58.107.167.217 (talk • contribs)? The dates that IP address added on multiple articles were all incorrect according to IMDB and some other sources. Garion96 (talk) 14:07, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Regarding your comment on my talk. I changed to birthdate according to IMDB. If that birthdate is incorrect, which is always possible, please provide a source. Also, please read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Btw, you can sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. [edit] Re: Niddrie Secondary College
Could you please have some consideration for the people who spend time editing and adding to articles and then you come up and change what they have edited. Please STOP chnaging articles that do not concern you. I added a number of additonal information to an article and you deleted half of it and changed a significant portion of the rest. Please stop doing that. That would be appreciated. Thank You in advance. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bradles 01 (talk • contribs).
- Hello Bradles. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools for some tips about the recommended content and structure of schools articles. According to discussion on WikiProject Schools, now at Archive 2, the convention for inclusion of information about school staff is much the same as that for notable alumni. Administration (headmaster/principal) type staff can be named, but otherwise, they should only be included if they have their own article or if they meet the requirements of WP:BIO.
- Street addresses, phone numbers and email addresses are unnecessary. It's an encyclopedia, not a directory. The link to the college website provides sufficient contact details. Gimboid13 09:32, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ownership
I am contacting you because you are the recent editor of wikipedia's ownership policy. Could you please clarify is it possible for a user to take ownership of a particular page? thank you (Bradleigh 23:14, 22 January 2007 (UTC))
- Please read the page in question. If there's something in particular that you don't understand, let me know. —David Levy 23:21, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- I have read the article in question and i have one final questions and i am asking you to answer it for me. Can a user take ownership of a article? Yes or No?? if yes, how?
- Thank you (Bradleigh 05:59, 26 January 2007 (UTC))

- What do you mean by "take ownership"? —David Levy 06:03, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

-
- I mean, if a user creates and continues to maintain an article can they take responsibility of it. Basically what i said before, can one take ownership of an article that they have created? (Bradleigh 07:23, 26 January 2007 (UTC))

[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 04:29, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Good luck!
I appreciate your...appreciation, heh. You wrote the sports trainer article well, the merge was just because I obiously wasn't aware of the large differences. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me, like an educated person, rather then just deleting my edits. I enjoyed learning the differences between athletic vs. sports trainers (which is why we're on Wikipedia in the first place, to learn!). Anyways, I wish you good luck with your article improvement. See you around the site! TheKain 18:33, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page ownership
I noticed your question about page ownership on a talk page where I had also left a question. It turns out I know the answer to yours. There are two: 1) No. 2) Sort of.
1) applies to articles in Wikipedia's main namespace (and all other namespaces except for the user namespace). You should read and follow the policy at WP:OWN.
2) applies to user pages. While in your "userspace" (such as subpages of your user page), you pretty much have total say over them while they are there. There are exceptions of course, but as long as they pertain to Wikipedia, there generally isn't any reason for anyone to mind. So, while disallowing any and all changes to an article you wrote in the encyclopedia is behavior which is adamantly opposed by the Wikipedia community, the same approach is allowed upon drafts (and other pages) you have stored in your userspace. Users sometimes store copies of articles in their userspace as a protective measure against deletion, to ensure continued access to the article.
By the way, if there's an article that you've gotten "just right", and you just can't bear the thought of anyone changing it, there are 2 things which you can do. These only help you, and do not affect the article which is displayed to the public. But, here they are:
- One way is to set up a permanent link to the version you like. Just cut and paste the URL of the version to your user page, and you have a permanent link to that version. To get the URL of the current version of the page, click on "permanent link" in the toolbox menu of the sidebar, and it will appear in the address box of your browser.
- Another way is to create a subpage of your userpage (just make a page and call it this: "user:username/subpagename" (where username is your ID, and "subpagename" is the name of the article you wish to store). Once the subpage is created, cut and paste to it a copy of the version of the article you want to save.
I hope the above answers clarify your concerns. Sincerely, The Transhumanist

I find it likely that you and User:Jane 01 are either one and the same or at least connected, and both of you appear to be engaged in hoaxing. I have blocked both accounts pending clarification. Guy (Help!) 19:36, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] unblock
- The problem is that despite being blocked a month ago, you're been trying to continue editing Wikipedia using multiple accounts which is prohibited by the Wikipedia:Sock puppetry policy and have made quite a nuisance of yourself. You still haven't come entirely clean about the extent of your disruptive edits so far or what accounts you have used. Yes, Sports trainer isn't a bad article, but it's a shame that you wrote it BEFORE you resolved the whole debacle surrounding the hoax biography your wrote at Bradley Anderson which got you banned in the first place. You've demonstrated as recently as February 24 that you don't respect our policies and guidelines by using the sockpuppet KylieK (talk • contribs) and you don't respect your other editors by attempting to own articles. In turn, I don't know how we can respect your promise "not to be irresponsible again" or your ability to cooperate with the Wikipedia community. I'll let another administrator make the final call, but this is my 2 cents on your request. -- Netsnipe ► 16:04, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- I blocked pending clarification. So: was Jane01 you, or a friend on the same computer; are you now aware of the policy on block evasion; are you going to edit responsibly and not add nonsense? If so, no problem, you can be unblocked. It was not a big deal, just some nonsense that had to stop - if you're going to be responsible going forward, there is no problem to solve and I endorse any admin who chooses to unblock you, or I will do it myself. Guy (Help!) 16:47, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- When reviewing this unblock request, you might want to take into account User:Spencer 02 and the SSP case at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Bradles 01 (3rd). Spencer 02 was editing as recently as Mar. 4, advocating the restoration of Sports trainer and the unblocking of User:KylieK. --Akhilleus (talk) 17:50, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unblock (for JzG (Guy)
[edit] Att: JzG (Guy)
{{unblock|Could administrators please leave this request for User:JzG (Guy) to review as he has requested information from me and i am responding in this way. I was connected to Jane_01, and i am now aware of the block evasion policy and will not edit irresponsibly anymore. I am also now aware of what is and is not wikipedia and i am happy to follow the guidelines. JzG can you please now unblock my account as i have answered the questions you wanted me to, therefore can my account be unblocked now. Thank You ([[User:Bradles 01|Bradleigh]] 08:14, 13 March 2007 (UTC)) }}

[edit] Personal attacks
With regards to your comments on User:Ali K: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Orderinchaos78 13:28, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Comments to User:Ali K have been no-offensive, non-threating and have not personally attacked this user in anyway. It's more a case of Ali K cannot admit that she has made a mistake. (Bradleigh 04:07, 17 March 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Reposting of deleted article
A tag has been placed on Sports trainer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Sports trainer is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Sports trainer saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we ask you to follow these instructions. andy 09:08, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi Bradleigh, you seem very determined to recreate sports trainer, even though several different users have said that the content belongs in Athletic trainer, both on the deletion review and on the article's talk page. By re-creating the content, you're acting against the consensus of a number of other editors. If you feel that we're in error, could you please discuss your reasons, and clearly define how a sports trainer differs from an athletic trainer? Thanks. --Akhilleus (talk) 02:19, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi, i've had a look at the article (sports trainer) and i agree that there are a number of differences. perhaps if you were to incorporate them into the article maybe the difference would be better seen by others. just an idea (Kitti-Kat01 05:50, 18 March 2007 (UTC))

Here on Wikipedia we assume good faith. Sometimes that means we end up paying out more rope so people hang themselves. You did just that, with your latest puppet. Guy (Help!) 15:50, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
