BrandlandUSA is the wikipedia user name for a Richmond, Virginia writer whose interest is in documenting the history of American brand names. I am particularly interested in creating stubs relating to national and regional brands.

I recently added history about the Econo Lodge motel chain and its early days as Econo-Travel, as well as entries on other Virginia and national retailers, brands and resorts. While national brands and new companies tend to be represented, regional brands, companies, ideas and buildings are not.
