Situated in south-est of Arad county,at the foot of Zarand Mountains,BRAZII, has an ancient lost history.First historical certified in documents was in 1553 with the name RAJ or RAY,but the village was situated thousands years ago in mountains, near Cross Top, a wonderfull woody hill. There lived the ancient "Free Dacs" who fought against the Roman Empire when they conquered Dacia. During the medieval period the village was in the district[voywoda]of Kapolna[Capalna]in Zarand County.Other names of BRAZII was SZATURO , SATURAU and SATU RAU.[Drai Ioan-Nicu dec 2006]
