Brayan Ruiz (born August 8, 1985) is a Costa Rican football player who currently plays as striker for Jupiler League's K.A.A. Gent.

He began his professional career playing for LD Alajuelense, in Costa Rica's top division, where he won the 2004 CONCACAF Champion's Cup, the 2004-2005 National Championship, and the 2006 UNCAF Club Cup. In July 2006 he was transferred to K.A.A. Gent. He has been important for the U-20 national teams. He has also been capped for the full national team several occasions, playing during the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. His ability for dribbling with the ball makes him one of the most dangerous strikers in the CONCACAF region, and he has already built a reputation as a great scorer. He is also a great play maker, and was one of Alajuelense's best players in his last year with them.

In summer 2006, he was signed by Gent in 4 year deal.

In March 2007, he played with the Costa Rican national team. He had a great game against New Zealand, in which he scored a goal and had a brilliant assist. There are high hopes for his future.
