Brasserie Les Halles

Brasserie Les Halles is a French restaurant with locations in New York City, Washington, DC, and Miami, Florida. Author and television host Anthony Bourdain is the executive chef.
Les Halles serves simple and classic French dishes such as escargot, foie gras, and steak tartare (which is prepared tableside). Les Halles is renowned for its French fries. The Park Avenue location of Les Halles features a butcher shop that specializes in French cuts of meat.
Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Cookbook contains recipes to many of the dishes served at Les Halles.
At one time, Les Halles had a location in Tokyo, as it is mentioned in Bourdain's book Kitchen Confidential.
The restaurant is named after Les Halles, the central wholesale marketplace in Paris, France.
