Branko Bošković (Serbian Cyrillic: Бранко Бошковић), (born June 21, 1980 in Backa Topola, Vojvodina, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Montenegrin football midfielder who currently plays for Rapid Wien in Austria and Montenegro national team.
[edit] Football career
Boskovic started his pro career in 1996 with the Budva outfit FK Mogren, which was competing in lower Yugoslav division at the time. After playing there for two and a half seasons, Branko earned a dream move to Red Star Belgrade in December 1998.
In his 4 and a half seasons in Belgrade he twice won the Serbo-Montenegrin Football League (2000 & 2001) and the Serbo-Montenegrin Cup three times in 1999, 2000 & 2002.
During summer of 2003 Branko moved from FK Red Star to PSG, but failed to get a first team place. Following his two year stay at PSG (spent mostly out of the first team picture), Branko accepted a season long loan to play with Troyes where he spent the entire 2005/06 season.
After his loan spell ended, Boskovic and PSG parted ways. In January 2007 he signed a contract with Rapid Wien until the end of the season.
[edit] International career
He made his debut for Serbia & Montenegro against Brazil in March 2002. He was the member of Montenegro national team, which debut for the nation first match against Hungary in March 2007, instead of waiting call up from Serbia.
