[edit] Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney

Slay won the gold medal at the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia after clearly (0:4) losing in the finals to Alexander Leipold of Germany. Leipold then tested positive for the steroid Nandrolone and the gold medal was awarded to Slay. However there was a lot of criticism about Leipold's disqulification, especially because the amount of Nandrolone found in the Germans urine sample did not give him any advantage during the match. Furthermore at the moment of the test the amount of urine in Leipold's sample had accreted in comparison to the moment of delivery (from 50 ml to 85 ml).

Slay is a devout Christian and runs Greater Gold which does speeches and camps about Christ and wrestling.
